Micky Johnson

Micky started DJaying when he was 8-9 years old.
Playing Reggae, Soul, R & B records with his dad.
As he got older, Changed genres and played Rap, Hip Hop Beats.
Then he got into the House Music scene, a little period of playing UK Garage in between.
Was on a couple of pirate radio stations,around 1995,
He got a opportunity to be a warm up DJ for EZ, out in Ayia Napa for a while.
Started playing in local bars and clubs,then got back playing House Music.
Late 1999, He got a opportunity to go to America with his brother and cousin (who were into the Soul and R & B) and DJ at certain bars and clubs in New York.
Brought a lot of vinyl, while he was out there!!
Came back to Britain, after a few months, Took a break then came back to start DJaying again around 2014.
Started his House Vibe Show with Conscious Sounds in 2016, where he met his fellow House Matters colleagues, Wez Whynt and Brother James then joined Grant Nelsons’ D3ep Radio Network in 2018.
Micky mixes and blends particular styles of Soulful, Vocal, Deep, Funky, Afro-Latin tracks & of course, drops the odd Classic House tracks from yesteryear.
