I am an avid music lover!!!

I’ve known to be at almost every UK Soul/House event and even a lot of the overseas festivals.

Up until July 2016 the idea of being a DJ was only a dream.

Never in a million years did I expect my dream to become a reality.

Ive spent my spare time listening to and buying music.

I was totally on board when Mi-Soul radio launched on DAB in June 2015 as it played all the music I was passionate about.

During the Suncebeat festival in Croatia summer of 2016 it was brought to the attention of Mi-Drive’s Ronnie Herel

about my passion to be a DJ.

He interviewed me live on air in Croatia and gave me a challenge to put together a mix for the Mi-Drive show and gave me 12 weeks to do it.

I purchased all the necessary equipment and being a perfectionist spent hours to ensure the tracks blended and were seamless.

During the 12 weeks Ronnie was a huge support and became my mentor, educating me on the art of mixing!!!

Throughout the 12 week challenge I gained some confidence and started going out to play at small gigs in bars in Essex.

Hugely supported by my family and friends.

This went on to a regular pub slot with Mi-Soul Radio’s very own legend Lil Stevie who has also hugely aided myself on my journey.

Needless to say when the day came for me to actually do the mix at 20 to 6 on Ronnie’s Mi-Drive live on air in December 2016,  Ronnie said I absolutely smashed it!!!!!

In 5 years I’ve exceeded my own expectations.

I have played on the terrace with Mi-Soul Radio at Suncebeat Croatia,  The famous Ibiza Rocks Hotel at MiBiza.

I played at Stretch Taylor’s 1st Ghetto Heaven weekender in Great Yarmouth.

Made my debut at Venue  360 in Luton

Also played at the Mi-Soul Brighton Beach Party all dayer.

I celebrated my 50th birthday and the best birthday present of all was spinning at London’s famous Ministry of Sound nightclub for the Mi-Soul Radio 3rd birthday.

I have also been booked for the Kavos soul and reggae week and am one of the resident DJs for the Funky Dory events.

I am honoured to be a part of the Liquid Spirit Team with my good friend Danny T of MiSoul.

We have launched together a House Brand called OpenHouse and have recently hosted our 1st boat party on the Thames in London.

I am also an admin on the Mi-Soul Family page💕

I am incredibly proud of what I’ve achieved in such a short period of time and I can also be heard with my Soulful House sound with my Usual Suspects music show Tuesday’s 7-9pm on MiHouse radio.

I’m blessed to be asked to play at Balstock❤️👊
